FreightParse

What this website keeps

Plainly, what freightparse.com records about a visit, and where to read the rest.

The web server's log

For each request the web server writes one line: your IP address, the time, the page asked for, the page you came from (the referrer) and your browser's name. The lines are kept for 14 days and then deleted. We use them only to see which pages are read.

What there is not

No cookies. No analytics and no tracker. No requests to other sites: the fonts and the styles come from freightparse.com itself.

One thing stays in your own browser: a page with a language button remembers your choice there, in its local storage. It is not sent to us.

Documents and the free trial

What happens to documents you send for reading, by e-mail or on the reading page, is in the trial terms and the data processing agreement. In short:

Read in Google's EU region, not used for training. A request flagged by Google's abuse checks may be kept up to 90 days, in the EU. FreightParse keeps no copy on its server. On the e-mail route, the e-mails are deleted from our mailbox within 30 days.

A trial sign-up records the details you enter, the date and time, the internet address and browser it came from, the terms version and a fingerprint of the terms pages as they were served, so that the acceptance can be shown later. The access key itself is never recorded.

E-mail

A letter to danil@freightparse.com is kept in that mailbox, at Google Workspace, as ordinary business correspondence.
