Goods lines for Riege Scope, read from the invoice and packing list
Riege publishes that Scope's module C89 creates DMS declarations from an Excel or CSV file, with a column mapping you save and reuse. FreightParse writes a shipment's goods lines as such a file: one row per goods line, the columns named after the declaration's data elements.
From your work address, with the invoice and packing list as PDFs. In the first reply you accept the trial terms with one button; then that shipment is read, and the goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes. No reply within 10 minutes? What is proven for Riege Scope
| What Riege publishes | Module C89, "Create DMS & NCTS5/DVA declarations from a xls/csv file": "Instead of manually entering data for a declaration, you can import an Excel or CSV file", with mapping configurations you "save and reuse". Riege activates it on request. Riege knowledge base, read on 12 October 2026. |
|---|---|
| What FreightParse writes | lines.xlsx and lines.csv: one row per goods line, with columns such as DE6_8_description_of_goods, DE6_14_commodity_code and DE6_1_net_mass_kg; semicolons, UTF-8. |
| What it is checked against | Nothing fixed: in C89 you map the columns yourself, once, so Riege has no layout to check against. |
| Imported into Scope by a desk | Not yet. No Scope user has mapped and imported a FreightParse file so far. |
| What comes back by e-mail | lines.xlsx and lines.csv, with lines_sources.csv beside them: the page and the printed text behind every value. |
How it fits your work in Scope
If C89 is active on your Scope, map the columns of lines.csv once and save the mapping. Riege says a saved mapping can be reused, so each next shipment's file should go in the same way. Try that on one shipment before you rely on it.
If C89 is not active, Riege activates it on request (SKU C89, through service@riege.com). Until then, lines.xlsx is a plain Excel sheet with every goods line, to check against the documents and copy from.
How well it reads
On 20 invoices and packing lists it had never seen, scans included, it got 97.5% of the goods-line fields right and under 1% wrong; the rest were left empty and marked for a person. Every value comes with the page and the text it was read from. How it was tested.
Where your documents go
Read in Google's EU region, not used for training. A request flagged by Google's abuse checks may be kept up to 90 days, in the EU. FreightParse keeps no copy on its server. On the e-mail route, the e-mails are deleted from our mailbox within 30 days.
The data processing agreement comes with the trial. A desk that may not use any cloud can use the local reader instead: text PDFs only.
Questions
Is FreightParse connected to Scope?
No. FreightParse writes a file and Scope's own import reads it, with the mapping you set. FreightParse is not affiliated with Riege, and Riege has not seen this file.
Which columns does the file have?
One row per goods line: description (DE 6/8), commodity code as printed (6/14), net and gross mass (6/1, 6/5), packages and their type (6/10, 6/9), item price and currency (4/14, 4/10), origin (5/15), delivery terms (4/1), and the exporter and importer the documents name. A value the documents do not state stays empty and is listed in the report.
FreightParse is not affiliated with Riege Software. Riege Scope is theirs and is named here only to say what the file is for.
Other declaration software
| Software | What FreightParse writes for it |
|---|---|
| Stratech Shipment | The import dossier request, checked against Stratech's published field table |
| Beurtvaartadres ShipmentManager | The same import dossier request as Stratech Shipment |
| StreamLiner | Your layout, from one example file of yours |
| Fiton | Your layout, from the field list of your import |
| Customs4trade CAS | The CustomsShipment document, checked against the published schema |
| Other software | Any other: the layout your software imports, from one example file |
No desk has imported a FreightParse file into any of these yet; each page says what is proven. FreightParse is not affiliated with any of these vendors.
Try it on one shipment
Forward one shipment's e-mail and accept the trial terms with one button in the reply. The goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes.
