Goods lines in the layout of your declaration software
FreightParse writes a shipment's goods lines as the file your declaration software imports. For some products the layout is public and the file is checked against it; for others it starts from one example of yours. No desk has imported a FreightParse file into any of them yet.
From your work address, with the invoice and packing list as PDFs. In the first reply you accept the trial terms with one button; then that shipment is read, and the goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes. No reply within 10 minutes? Check your junk folder, or write to danil@freightparse.com. Free for 14 days, about 20 pages a day.
Rather accept the terms before you send anything? Use the button above. Or upload in your browser (read in the cloud), or ask a question first.
| Software | What FreightParse writes for it |
|---|---|
| Riege Scope | Excel or CSV for Scope's item import (module C89) |
| Stratech Shipment | The import dossier request, checked against Stratech's published field table |
| Beurtvaartadres ShipmentManager | The same import dossier request as Stratech Shipment |
| StreamLiner | Your layout, from one example file of yours |
| Fiton | Your layout, from the field list of your import |
| Customs4trade CAS | The CustomsShipment document, checked against the published schema |
| Other software | Any other: the layout your software imports, from one example file |
No desk has imported a FreightParse file into any of these yet; each page says what is proven. FreightParse is not affiliated with any of these vendors.
Any other software
Send one example of the file your software imports, or just its header row. FreightParse reads the header, matches each column in Dutch or English, and marks what is ambiguous, such as a column called Gewicht (net or gross?).
A person confirms the mapping once, in about five minutes. Every file after that comes out in your layout, with a separate list of the values to check, because an import file cannot carry a colour your software reads.
Comparing tools that read documents
Other tools read customs documents too, and some do far more than FreightParse. What each one's own pages say, side by side:
Try it on one shipment
Forward one shipment's e-mail and accept the trial terms with one button in the reply. The goods lines come back in the same thread, usually within 5 minutes.
